Now that your probation is either finished or close to being finished you want to clean up your record. This will improve your chances for a job and will provide you the satisfaction of the Court system recognizing your efforts at turning your life around. You want a second chance. Basic Requirements: Who Qualifies? Generally, to qualify for an expungement under Penal Code section 1203.4, you must have completed probation and not have a current case pending or be on probation for any other matter. |

This is my first attempt at writing a "Blog". I am not even sure of what a "Blog" is, what the letters stand for, or how they came into existence. But, it seems to me that the "blog" thing is another way for people to get information. With that in mind, my intention is to write blogs occasionally on issues that seem to arise frequently in my experience of 22 years as a criminal defense attorney. I invite questions and comments and I will try to respond as necessary and appropriate. |
